What to do on the first day back after school break? 5 simple activities to get the kids back on track!

Back to school!!! (Prueba)

This school year has just started in Spain. Most kids started on the second week of September and will continue until winter holiday in December!
(lets not forget about a few bank holidays here and there, you know they like to have their puentes:))

So after excepcionally long and hot Summer holidays it’s time to have your fist class! Set some goals, but don’t be too ambisious. Keep it simple and achieveable!

Keep in mind these points for your first class:

To help you with your first day back struggles, I have put together five activities we like to do upon returning to school:

1. «All about me» Your fist day and you want to get to know each and every one of your students? I can’t think of a better way than this simple worksheet. Hand out to each student, you can go over each section to make sure they understood what they have to do. Click here to download

2. «Detective»

3. «Taboo»

4. «Word clouds»

5. «Find Someone Who» This classic ESL classroom activity requires students to form questions properly using a prompt. The prompts typically spark interesting conversations. After all, people love talking about themselves! In order to complete the sheet, students have to speak to a wide variety of students in the classroom. CLick here to download
